Rotel's CD11 Tribute CD player was engineered with hands-on support from audio legend Ken Ishiwata utilizing a custom selection of acoustically tuned components delivering an even higher level of performance and acoustic clarity standing ready to playback the 200+ million CD’s that have been sold over the past 30 years.

An excellent player, both by sound and appearance. This Verak outplayed such cotton brothers like Maratz 5005, Denon, starting from the 520th to the 800th. Very good detail, quick bass, normal resolution of the sound field. I think the best sentence is 70000tr.

The Rotel CD11 Tribute CD-player was designed with direct participation and support from the legendary Ken Ishivata,
using carefully selected and acoustic components.
This made it possible to achieve even higher sound quality and acoustic transparency-to be prepared to play more than 200 million compact disks,
sold throughout the world over the past 30 years.
The player actually received a more “warm” sound after refinement than you can expect from the players of Rotel, while there was sufficient purity and correctness of sound, which will be quite enough for the initial level player from the eminent brand, so much that it can be blew whether it is worth it, whether it is worth it Change later on more expensive Rotel models. But this is already better to solve it independently, after compulsory personal listening and making a decision.
Rotel has been developing and producing CD players since the release of the very first RCD-855 model in 1989 and since then it has never looked back.
Therefore, the possibility of interacting with the audio legend - Ken Ishivata to create an even more high -quality model of the already successful player CD11 was joyfully perceived by groups of Rotel designers. Having more than 40 years of experience in the field of audio equipment, Ken in collaboration with Rotel engineers created really something special - CD11 Tribute Edition.
In the process of working on the CD11 Tribute, critically important changes were made to the power source, the components of the CAP and the components in the audio signal tract were accepted, which ensured an improved sensation of space, increased accuracy, detail and a sense of authenticity of sound.

The device acquired half a year ago. With a collection of more than 1300 disks and in the presence of a “native” amplifier a 11 Tribute, it seemed absolutely necessary to me. The player is fully consistent with the level of maestro Ishivata. Transparent, detailed, very emotional. At first I used the Chord C-line inter-clip, but the sound in the headphones seemed insufficiently transparent. I switched to Chord Clearway (both of Pult.ru) - and the latter perfectly revealed the potential of the Rotel Tribute bunch. The disadvantages of the apparatus were generally migrated from the basic model CD 11. This is the lack of an exit to the headphones and the level of the 90s levels. Most likely, such a solution has a technical justification, but it looks extremely unconvincing in our time. In addition, my copy is not friends with long Japanese discs (more than 74 minutes), which is expressed in episodic interruption of reproduction on one of the last paths. Not always, but it happens. With standard CD, everything is fine. I am satisfied with the device. This is the memory of the maestro Ken, and a good price-quality ratio (taking into account that for the next current model in the Rotel line (CD 14 MKII), more than 60 thousand rubles are now asking for more than 60 thousand rubles).

To begin with, I will not be clever about the frequency characteristics, scenes and other abstruse phrases of understandable except perhaps to sound engineers and
Musicians (even though I myself am an engineer by education). All these are conventions determined by the cost of the components, the size of the room and the hearing of a person. If there is no hearing, then no matter how much the device costs, it will not become better.
Rotel CD11 Tribute Black I acquired to replace the JVC XL-V142, who served me with faith and truth for 22 years! He is still alive, but he is time for a well -deserved rest.
Now in essence:
- Appearance. Made very soundly, there is nothing to swear. But in terms of color, rather dark dark gray than black. And well, a very large remote control, 22 cm long! For what?
- Sound. Very worthy. I have the same technique left the same, not expensive, but I like it. Sherwood AX-5505 amplifier, Acoustics Magnat MS 802, room 24 square meters. meters.
- for me a slightly unusual railway, but informative, if there is a CD text on the disk, then there is a run -in line: Contractor - name
Album - the name of the track. In Latin. Well, or the number of the track and the total time of sound, to choose from.
- a useful function of programming the brightness of the display and the indication of the network (in the working mode is blue, in the standby mode of red).
- The load time is about 2 seconds. Reads both "factory" and "self -packing" CD.
- And the function not indicated in the guidance was a little surprised: the tray itself closes in a minute, even if you do not need it. I learned by chance
He listened to the disk while he hid in the box and thought to listen yet, he closed. If at the same time there was a disk in the tray, reproduction is not
It begins, is waiting for the team from you. If you do not give 20 minutes, it turns off (the shutdown time can be set through the settings yourself).
- Well, that's all.
