The K3 CD DI Player from Roksan Audio takes all that was good about the internationally-lauded K2 CD Player and adds upgraded electronics to deliver a fuller and wider sound with increased detail retrieval and a smoother, more "analogue" feel. The K3 CD Di joins the K3 range as a combination CD Player and Digital-Analogue Converter (DAC), opening up a K3 system to more music sources than ever before. With the addition of both an optical and digital input, various other digital players and sources can be connected to the K3 CD Di and the audiophile standard output section of the player will put the signal into amplification for a superior quality performance. This excellent source component proves that there are still many hours of enjoyment hiding in your CD collection. Vocals are clean and lyrical whilst rhythms are solid and fast providing an all-round involving performance that will have you playing your discs for years to come.
The CD section of the CD Di is based on the established K3 CD. Incorporating premium components and first-class circuit design, the K3 CD Di delivers the same almost analogue sound quality when playing music from a CD. The variety of outputs, including high-grade AES/EBU digital, allows the K3 CD DI Player to fit easily into any system - even as a high-quality source for a dedicated headphone system - however, the most suitable is easily the matching K3 Integrated Amplifier. Together they represent all that is good about Roksan.
Usability is effortlessly simple with the supplied system remote, and the usual array of CD Playback modes (shuffle, repeat etc.) can all be accessed easily from the comfort of your listening position. The digital inputs are selectable via the use of a three position rocker switch underneath the unit.
