T1
The T1 is based around a stylish CNC-machined plinth featuring no plastic parts and carefully manufactured to ensure there are no hollow spaces inside, avoiding unwanted vibrations within the finished product. Mounted inside the plinth is a precision belt drive system, attached to a newly designed sub-platter, which itself is engineered to the finest tolerances for stable mounting into the stainless-steel axle/brass-bushing main bearing – the same bearing featured on the multi-award winning Essential III turntable. The sub-platter drives the new heavy, zero-resonance glass platter with absolute stability, ensuring an ideal playback surface for vinyl records.
The tonearm on the T1 is a new 8.6” model featuring a larger one-piece aluminium tube and an improved gimble bearing assembly with low-friction components for absolute accuracy in use. Mounted with an Ortofon OM 5E cartridge with elliptical diamond stylus for great sound, the tonearm is also pre-set for downforce and anti-skate settings, so there’s no need for any complicated set-up; you can get playing straight out of the box!

I ordered a vinyl player Pro-Ject T1 Piano Black, there are no complaints about quality. The sound quality is impressive, from the pluses I also want to highlight a compact size, stylish design and good assembly. I use about 3 weeks, everything is OK, further, I hope, there will be no problems either. The store left a pleasant impression with his wide assortment and maintenance.

Review
The vinyl player Pro-Ject T1 seemed to us the most optimal option, therefore, after consultation, it was purchased. Beautiful design, light weight and good work in terms of sound. Separately, I would like to note the politeness and literacy of a specialist who came to us for configuration and connection. The warranty for one year provided in writing.

This is my first vinyl player and, accordingly, I immediately stepped on a rake, but, about everything in order)
Having connected it to the NAD D3045 and B & W606S2, I was terribly disappointed with sound. It sounded like a pierced mp3. After a little thought, I decided to check the only accessible adjustment - a vertical clamping force. And, despite the manufacturer’s assurances about the ideal setting “out of the box”, it turned out to be much less than the laid. Fortunately, primitive scales are included in the kit, according to which it was possible to set the clamping force of 1.6 g with 1.75g. I found out this meaning later, having bought jewelry scales) after that the sound became better, but still far far from my expectations.
After drinking another wine and remembering the school physics course, I turned the fork for a 220V amplifier in a 220V socket, properly positioning the phase. And then it finally played!
Those. Digital formats sounded great at any position of the phase and zero, and the analog tract demanded their coincidence.
As I already wrote, a little later I bought jewelry scales and already accurately put up a clamping force on them.
I liked the sound very much. He is no better and no worse than the numbers - he is just different. The scene is excellent. And vinyl, unlike the numbers, you can really listen a lot and loudly. In any case, I get tired of the number at high volume.
Since this player is for beginners, it is worth saying that the crack of firewood in the fireplace is heard only on the records of the USSR era. On modern records it is not.
In general, listening to this turntable, you do not miss digital formats. At the same time, vinyl gives many new sensations that can be revealed even at this initial level.

Pros
Good sonorous cartridge, passive drive, manual control, light tonearm, discreet design
Minuses
Fetire mat, the mass is not enough
Review
The absence of a built -in phono -corrective, passive drive, manual control, cover, finally, are undoubted virtues. The standing device, nothing superfluous, and the main one is at the proper level. But, if you want to change the cartridge to a more solid one, and over time you definitely want to, then the shell integrated into the tonarm will cause certain inconvenience. There is no graduation on the counterweight. The clamping force will have to be set along the scales. And you still need a felt mat, sliding on the glass, replace with a rubber or cork-razin. Here
