Pro-Ject RPM 9 Carbon Turntable with 9CC Evolution Tonearm

Pro-Ject RPM 9 Carbon Black Turntable. They say that a measurement of weight is a sign quality and the RPM 9 weighing in at 16.7kg shows it certainly has this in abundance. Following in the same footsteps of the traditional Pro-Ject RPM Turntables, the RPM 9 just oozes quality. From the very first moment you’re handed the box, you can tell this turntable means business.

As with all of the best turntable, The RPM 9 lets you customise the cartridge allowing you to match this turntable to your hifi equipment. So, if you’re purchasing this turntable with the Ortofon 2M Red or even max it out with the Ortofon Quintet Black, you’ll be happy with your the Pro-Ject RPM 9 Turntable - Cartridge Package.

Unpackaging a Pro-Ject RPM 9 is quite an exciting affair with hidden parts enclosed in areas of the packaging you would never think to look, but this helps the RPM 9 create the camarador it needs, allowing you to take full ownership of a very special turntable.

Lifting the wonderfully machined aluminium platter weighing in at a cool 7.2kg shows you where some of that weight is hidden, then you pick the chassis up and again, that feeling of quality just oozes out. Then, as said, their are always little bits hidden in the packaging. Once found you can start assembling the RPM-9 giving you a sense of control with the product.

Adding the weight, skate and cartridge (required extra) means you’re almost there with just the setup of the 9 inch, 9cc Evolution tonearm, once balance, add the required weight and you’re almost ready to bring RMP-9 to life for the first time with just the belt to fix and the coupling, which simply means to connect it to your other electronics and connecting the RPM 9 to the mains..

At this point, careful consideration is required, as choosing which LP to try first was going to be a tough one, but once done, you’ll hear the warmth and vast soundstage grow in your room painting a picture across the wall in ways that only great electronics can. So, if you really wish to connect with your vinyl records, then do it in style with the Pro-Ject RPM 9 Turntable.
