Pro-Ject Record Puck For Turntables
The Record Puck, available on Pro-Ject's higher-end turntable models like the RPM10 can be used on most other turntables with a standard centre spindle and keep records flat during playback. Not only does that hugely reduce the resonance or 'slip' but it reduces the time you need to spend re-calibrating your deck thanks to naturally warped records.
The Record Puck is well-built, machined from a single piece of brass and given a tactile matt black coating. This premium clamp weights 850g which is enough weight to keep a vinyl record stable and won't cause too much unnecessary 'rumble'. The Puck also comes with a beautiful polished wood presentation box which is another 'beyond the call of duty' touch by Pro-Ject.

The main difference between this device, and those that are sold in Chinese Aliexpress, and those in the photo in one of the early reviews are the weight of the product - 800 grams. It is almost 3-4 times heavier, therefore, it does not make sense in comparison to compare cheap versions, since they do not really press vinyl, but create visibility.
