I purchased these columns for the Yamaha A-S201 amplifier. The sound is very soft. At low frequencies, they play very softly. Room 20 meters. They fully cope. Before them, I used the Yamaha NS-6490 artistic acoustics. The sound was not voluminous enough. At high frequencies, even harsh. Now they work in pairs. One another complements. Since the amplifier is not powerful enough, Acoustics Polk squeezes out of it in full. I recommend to those who have a limited budget. They are worth it!
