These are the last AC in the RESEARCH line that I listened. Each model has its advantages (and disadvantages). Most of all I liked the shelf R200, and after the R600 I expected even more cotton wool on the midbass and failures on the account. I listened to the 2200th Yamaha and that did not cope so that it was straight! The strangest thing that this model had the most chic soundthej, close to the shelter R200, only more large -scale and a good foundation on the bass. The breast male vocals are good that for many modern AS - a stumbling block, a ring tweeter sounds balanced and does not take a rooster (it looks like the supply of senior Elac, but smaller parts at three times a smaller price). Virtual scene IMHO is perfectly built! Not as close and pushed as that of KEF or B& W 6th series, but also not as pushed as in the younger floor Elac. There is no fatigue from listening, but how they jumped out the early vinyl Yello ... Black matte film The most disgusting for me is the option of finishing. Surely there is a nut and white, as in the rest of the line. From three meters, it is already possible to listen to the fact that rather nonsense for such American Napolniks and here they are again similar to the R200. With such a Chuyka and a fairly strong split of the impedance, the bass was expected deeper, but those that are - no complaints. The genre versatility is another dignity, and the dumb material does not so painfully pounds the gills (for example, vinyl pop 80s). In general, the test! Who needs trouble -free floor speakers is a great choice. I expected that they would be bright with Yamaha, but nothing like that.

He came to the salon in Yekaterinburg several times, trying to find his sound. Initially aimed at Dali Opticon 6 or 8, but thanks to Sergey (consultant), he drew attention to Polk. They are in the price category of Opticon 8. And now I liked them more, although in appearance Dali is of course more interesting. I listened to acoustics for two hours, probably. I can’t say that there was a wow effect at once, but having driven with various musical material I realized that the speakers play out what it is necessary. Well, with electronic music - generally excellent, thanks to soft, but fast, collected bass, scale. Moreover, I listened to the material via Bluetooth with Rotel-1572 mainly. ? By the way, I purchased this bunch of Rotel-1572 and Polk Audio Reserve R700. Of course, with Hi-Res everything is much more interesting. Having launched the system of the house, it was again pleasantly surprised, since there were fears that the Napolniks were too big for a room of 24 sq.m. However, the ligament sang as it should. Separately, I want to thank Sergei, who helped me make the right choice.

If you look at the Polk Audio Reserve R700 and for some reason doubt it, then listen to them! The sound is just gorgeous, amazing with his bass, mac assembly, depth! Yes, but this acoustics are worth it, I do not regret that I bought them!
