Parasound HINT 6 stereo integrated amplifier silver
The HINT 6 Integrated Amplifier is an improved version of the Halo Integrated Amplifier. The Halo model began to be called HINT by the company shortly after release, and now this house name is reflected in the new version of the amplifier. The amplifier has a Burr-Brown volume control and a convenient front panel display. A USB input has been added for owners of Windows and Mac computers. The developers also added an optical input, increased the gain of the built-in phono stage and improved channel separation.
At the heart of the HINT 6 is the same power amplifier designed by John Curl, delivering 160 watts per channel into 8 ohms (and 240 watts into 4 ohms). A feature of this amplifier is in the class A / AB DC circuit used in modern Parasound power amplifiers.
The HINT 6 amplifier can also be integrated into a home theater system or built from it into a 2.1 system (it has an analog bass management function). For lovers of personal sound, there is a headphone amplifier, and for owners of turntables, there is a phono stage for MM and MC heads.
