I use in the budget system with shells Audiovector K1 Super and Arcam Alpha 8 (class AB, integral amplifier on field transistors). I added to the order by mistake with the cheaper cable Procast Cable ST 12.OFC.3,235, and since the amount is small, I decided to leave it for a sample. Before the shift of the cable, the system was very genre, confidently played only the classics and other "calm" music genres. The basses were weak and cociant (probably, it would be correct to say correctly "moved up the frequency range"?). I did not expect anything else from the budget Audiovector, but in vain! After changing the cable to the Norstone Classic CL400, I could not believe my ears: there was a dense fleshy midbass! It became interesting to listen to electronic music, modern pop music and even heavy metal. For his money, the cable is excellent: he emphasizes the crystal purity of the sound of the Audiovector K1 SU and partially compensates for its main drawback - weakness in the low -frequency range. Of course, this cable did not force my 12 cm from the AC/NF Dynamics to play like 20 cm, but the increase is so pleasing to me that I even regret that I did not order the senior Norstone Classic model with a section of 6 mm. P.S. The Midbas increase was felt without warming up. The cables warmed up a little more than 2 weeks of 4-5 hours a day. Subjectively heated, slightly expanded the scene and revealed the corporate "crystal" sound Audiovector.
