Imagine a bookshelf speaker that gives you richer sound and deeper bass than your old floorstander. That’s what the Monitor Audio Silver 100 is capable of. On the outside, a choice of real wood veneers lets you achieve the perfect look. Inside, a plethora of technologies come together, including metal coned drivers with Rigid Surface Technology, a new tweeter design and a new crossover system that intelligently combines the tweeter and bass driver. If all that just sounds like noise to you, don’t worry. You’ll hear the difference the moment you press play.
New Cabinet Design And Finishes
Crisply drawn edges define the new Silver Series 7G cabinets, and the choice of five luxurious finishes - including three real-wood veneers - creates a look that’s both contemporary and timeless. Two new real wood veneers, Natural Walnut and Ash have been introduced.
New Rigid Surface Technology (RST) II Driver Design
A new aluminium alloy improves the tensile strength of the cone while retaining all the benefits - low distortion, high power handling, excellent directivity - of our C-CAM technology. Drivers can go louder for longer without compromise.
New C-CAM Tweeter Design
A completely new magnet structure and rear chamber design are among the invisible improvements. The new Uniform Dispersion Waveguide II and compression ring are much more visible. And the result is thrillingly clean, accurate treble response.
New Tweeter And Driver Trims
By minimising the appearance of the mid/bass driver surround, and by making a feature of the tweeter protection dispersion pattern, both the look and the performance of the speaker is enhanced.
New Crossover Design
Splitting the incoming signal between tweeter and mid/bass driver is an art in and of itself. Our new crossover design works sympathetically with the drivers to deliver perfect tonal balance.
Pros

Review
An excellent acoustic system for a small room of 12-15 meters.
We grab both the volume and bass (full -fledged) which does not buzz and does not interrupt the whole other sound
They replaced Dali Oberon 1, and showed that the size of acoustics really matters. Dali Oberon 1 is a very good speaker system, but they were not enough for them a little and decided to try floor speakers but realized that they would most likely buzz and would be dancing with their arrangement in the room so decided to take larger shells. When listening, I compared them with Dynaudio Emmit M20 and stopped at these Monitor Audio since they give a fairly detailed sound but making it musical, not tiring and forcing it to listen to more music without breaks for rest)
I use them with a quad Vena 2 amplifier
