With high-output designed to cover medium to large size cinemas, the KPT-8060H has the versatility as a perfect speaker for traditional to today's multichannel digital surround formats.
Designed for high levels of both visual and sonic appeal, the Klipsch KPT-8060H
is the perfect solution for sidewall, rear or ceiling placement surround speaker applications. Klipsch-exclusive Tractrix Horn technology efficiently reproduces sound with low-distortion clarity.
The addition of ellipses or “mumps” to the horn wall enhances coverage across the dispersion area of the horn.
The 90° x 60° horn coverage pattern provides a tight coverage that can extend the full width of a large auditorium.
The solid, molded cabinet design provides an attractive, contemporary look that blends perfectly with today’s high-style venues and
includes pre-drilled holes with inserts to t industry-standard mounting brackets for a fast, easy and secure installation.
Mounted flush on a vertical surface (wall) produces an 8° downward ring angle while the included insert adds an additional 7° of angle or a total of 15°.
Klipsch SB-6 and SB-7 mounting brackets are recommended for side-wall mounting while an approved third-party bracket can easily be utilized for ceiling mounting.
Whether used in a standard surround format or called upon to create the highly realistic placement of sounds with today’s advanced digital surround formats, the Klipsch KPT-8060H provides the ultimate in surround sound reproduction, putting movie audiences right in the middle of the action.

About brand
Klipsch
Paul W. Klipsch believed four principles to be the foundation for great sound. They continue to drive the design of every new Klipsch speaker, today and tomorrow:
High Efficiency / Low Distortion
Klipsch horn technology is highly efficient, providing more accurate sound with less power and less distortion – resulting in louder, cleaner audio. Klipsch’s Law: Efficiency is inversely proportional to distortion.
Controlled Directivity
Klipsch horn technology accurately directs sound to the proper locations, which, in turn, creates a more lifelike soundstage without wasting acoustic energy where sound is not needed or desired.
Wide Dynamic Range
The softest sounds are reproduced with remarkable clarity and the loudest sounds are delivered without harshness or distortion – with the greatest possible range between the softest and loudest sounds.
Flat Frequency Response
Audio is delivered without frequency bias – no unnatural highs, mids or lows – reproducing recorded sound as accurately as possible without colorization.
