Elipson Prestige Facet 6ATM compact atmos speaker was specially designed to be positioned on top of a floorstanding speaker. Directed towards the ceiling, it replicated surround effects from Dolby Atmos soundtracks in new Blu-ray movies. The speaker attaches a vertical dimension to the audio of a conventional 5.1 set up to deliver more realism and better immersion.
Prestige Series
With the Prestige Facet 6ATM, the home theatre event is more vigorous than ever before. These speakers process the whole range of engaging multichannel formats and affix a vertical dimension to the listening occurrence. This speaker has acquired all the trademarks of the Prestige Facet series; elegant design, premium materials, scrupulous finish... As for acoustic performance, it meets the stringent set of criteria to be certified Dolby Atmos.
Speaker Driver
Elipson Prestige Facet 6ATM is equipped with a 14cm driver fitted in a sealed structure for low and mid reproduction. A bullet-like phase plug is mounted in the heart of the driver to prevent vibrations and lower distortion. The many-sided, sculpted silicone surround ring functions to decrease the baffle effect and constrain diffractions.
From the front, a 25mm soft dome tweeter brings super-efficient sound directivity which is needed for sound waves to bounce off the ceiling suitably and for mid-highs to be restrained from reaching side confines. The resulting frequency response ranges from 65 to 25k Hertz. Its 15° angle enables it to be placed atop a floorstander to gain maximum reproduction of surround sound effects and experience the intensity of complete immersion.
