Dual CS 526 BLACK Semi-Auto Turntable
Semi-automatic turntable with newly developed auto-stop function. The special thing on this, the auto-stop function is electronic controlled, not by a mechanic. So it has no influence on the sound quality of the turntable. The solid chassis of the CS 526 comes from the CS 550, but here in black colour. Also the motor unit and the bearing are comming from the bigger brother. For the scanning we use the proven tonearm of the CS 505-4. The tracking force can be adjusted precise by a torsion spring. The antiskating force can be adjusted for cone-shaped needles or spherical-shaped needles individually. Therefore the CS 526 gives a lot of possibilities to use different cartridges. For protection of the tonearm and the chassis, a dustcover is included.
TONEARM TECHNOLOGY
Cardan bearing with massless stylus force set by a high-precision torsion spring. Rigid headshell made of carbon fiber with ½-inch fixing-holes. Adjustable tracking force and anti-skating. Viscosity damped tonearm lift.
CHASSIS TECHNOLOGY
Vibration damping solid wood chassis. Vibration damped aluminium platter with anti-static, thick felt mat.
DRIVE TECHNOLOGY
Belt driven by a precision flat belt. DC motor with electronic speed control. Special hardened 7mm axle. Cartridge Ortofon OM 10 is included.
