DCD-900
Denon constantly pursues innovative technologies to bring you the natural sound reproduction that your favourite music deserves. With this in mind, Denon's Advanced AL32 Processing Plus will deliver music that is accurate in the way the artist intended by utilising data interpolation algorithms, up-sampling, and bit-extension, the latest in analogue waveform reproduction technology to support hi-res audio. The DCD-900NE plays back CD, CD- R/RW, MP3, and WMA formats. Or plug in a USB stick to add playback of FLAC up to 192kHz/24bits or DSD 2.8 MHz/5.6 MHz.
Vibration-Resistant design
Adverse audio effects are commonly linked with vibration caused by heavy components within certain products. To negate this and ensure pristine audio, Denon goes the distance by placing power transformers near the bottom of the unit directly above the insulators. This significantly reduces vibration around the chassis so you're listening experience is immersive and uninterrupted.
DAC Master Clock design
Master Clock design and placement are vital to achieving clarity in CD players. It is usual to find the master clock on the CD servo-decoder board in the CD player. This solution results in high jitter due to signal noise caused by other circuit components. To get around this the master clock in the DCD900NE is placed immediately adjacent to the DAC suppressing jitter making for prime D/A conversion.
