TONANGEL120RCA
For this cable, silver conductors with a solid core with a perfect surface (PSS) were chosen . This top material is at the top of AudioQuest's hierarchy, because silver is one of the best conductors and, in this case, it also has an unprecedentedly smooth and smooth surface, which is one of AudioQuest's proprietary technologies. This technology protects the surface of the material in all stages of production. Thus, during the production process, highly pure silver becomes the most perfect conductor. The resulting sound delivers unrivaled fidelity, clarity and detail.
Ground Wire
A ground wire minimizes distortion and protects against RFI interference. The basis is solid copper conductors with a perfectly smooth surface (PSC +), NDS shielding technology using a carbon layer, direction controlled to redirect RF noise and directly silver-plated 3/16″ (4.8 mm) forks.
What FEP stands for ( Hollow Fluoro-Polymer Insulation )
Any solid material that is close to a conductor actually becomes part of an imperfect circuit. Cable insulation and printed circuit boards absorb energy and cause losses. Part of this energy is stored and then released in the form of distortion. ANGEL cable uses air-filled hollow fluoropolymer insulation to insulate all conductors, because air absorbs almost no energy and fluoropolymer is perfectly low-loss. The result is noticeably less distorted sound than when using conventional materials.
Dielectric-Bias System
This innovative process by Audioquest is patented. It is an unbiased isolation that slows down the signal in an innovative way. DBS works with a very strong stable electrostatic field and polarizes the dielectric molecules. This eliminates the accumulation of energy in isolation and the resulting sound is characterized by many new details and unexpected dynamic contrast.
Carbon-Base 3-layer Noise-Dissipation System
The three-layer (carbon) system for dispersing external influences and noise (NDS) perfectly shields interference transmitted to the grounding of devices and thus prevents sound distortions. This system effectively captures radio frequency interference and unwanted noise. At the same time, however, it also prevents radio frequency interference (RFI) from modulating the ground reference. This is because traditional shielding systems typically absorb and then dissipate noise / RF energy to ground and modulate and distort the critical "reference" ground, causing signal distortion. Conversely, alternating layers of metal and carbon (AudioQuest's NDS system) create effective shielding and absorb and reflect most of the problematic noise and RF energy before it reaches the ground layer.
The innovations did not miss the connectors either.
Cold-welded direct silver-plated RCA connectors made of red copper (without the usual nickel base layer). This solution does not use the soldering process, which tends to cause significant distortion. Because the connector bodies are molded, not machined, a metal can be selected for manufacturing that will only minimally affect the signal (instead of metal that is easily machined). The use of red copper enhances the clarity of the sound even more, and the silver coating is another step on the way to a perfectly clear sound.
