The Klipsch R-820F floorstanding speaker fills your room with amazing detail and clarity. Leveraging our proprietary horn-loaded technology and featuring dual 8" spun-copper IMG woofers, the R-820F delivers lifelike acoustics that brings your music and movies to life.
Klipsch - The Great American Speaker Company
Since 1946, Klipsch has been providing legendary sound through speakers, headphones & home audio.
TRACTRIX HORN TECHNOLOGY
Klipsch exclusive 90x90º Tractrix horn technology ensures the R-820F high-frequency energy is aimed at the listener and reduces artificial reverb or filtering caused by indirect sound bouncing off of walls.
WITH KAPTON SUSPENSION
LINEAR TRAVEL SUSPENSION TWEETER
Klipsch exclusive Linear Travel Suspension (LTS) aluminum tweeter minimizes distortion for enhanced, detailed performances. Using Kapton, an extremely light and rigid material, in the tweeter suspension provides high efficiency and improve resolution and detail.
SPUN COPPER IMG WOOFERS
Injection Molded Graphite (IMG) woofer cones are exceptionally light while being extremely rigid – providing remarkable low frequency response, with minimal cone breakup and distortion. When paired with the Tractrix Horn-Loaded LTS Tweeter, it provides speaker efficiency highest in its class.
REAR TRACTRIX PORT
The rear Tractrix port is perfectly matched to the cabinet and woofers, creating ideal airflow with minimal distortion or turbulence even at the lowest frequencies.
SLEEK DESIGN
Exposed fasteners, angled feet, low profile magnetic grilles and a scratch-resistant, textured wood grain vinyl give the R-820F floorstanding speaker a polished, modern appearance. Reinforced MDF construction reduces cabinet vibration for less audible coloration and improved sonic accuracy.
I have been listening to this acoustics for several years. The sound of the AC made the impression of a full-fledged hi-fay with its own character. All laid informal criteria - scale, space, localization for my taste deserve strong "good." The top is transparent, the bass eliminates the need to add a subwoofer. Multi -rod. A strikingly high passport sensitivity.
The middle is slightly veiled. For comfort, I had to add a couple of dB in the upper middle. However, a matter of taste. The shutter scheme marks the sound vertically (but, as far as I can judge, they significantly reduce parasitic distortions).
Personally, this acoustics closed my needs in home sound completely. I clarify that I am a fan of music, not a lover of sound. The speakers, initially, require quite long heating, the difference is very noticeable. In the future, there was no desire to replace. Room 20 m2, PC-Optika-Sna 356/A14 company. The boxes are large, especially in depth. This is a fee for 35 dB of the lower border. Otherwise, everything has already been described in previous reviews of respected users of the 820 clip. With a clear conscience, I recommend listening.

There are simply no competitors for this cost.
The sound from the "box" - does not get a little in the inter -band, the elasticity in the bass.
They were purchased in the fall of 2020 in Pult.ru Kazan, along with the receiver Denon AVR-X2700H with a further sight to build the Dolby Atmos system. When choosing in the cabin, I listened to the acoustics of Dali, Focal, KEF, stopped at the Klipsh R 820f, the bass was captured in them. In the fight against the deficiencies indicated above, the capacitors in crossovers (there were cheap electrolytes) had to be soldered and acoustic foaming in the AS buildings. After the upgrade, the vocals became more pleasant, the parasitic bitterness at the lower frequencies decreased. Now the clips are very harmoniously playing in conjunction with acoustics B& W (rear 606 S2, the central channel HTM71 S2, ceiling channels M-1 and dB4S subwoofer) and the prefix Aple TV 4K in a room of 16 sq.m.

High sensitivity, which was critical to me, because Acoustics was selected under the lamp single -stroke amplifier. The sound is quite balanced, the images are large, but in moderation, a wide range (work from about 40-45 Hz). The tweeter, although shutter, sounds nice. The sound as a whole is an alleged, without obvious rubble or humps. In principle, for this money, these nobliks have no competitors! They close the question of the sound from the stereo of the amplifier (meaning that there is no desire to sculpt the central channel or sub).
If you find fault, you can catch a certain lack of a range, not very structured bass (more imposing), well, design does not tear stars.
I want to thank the ?remote? team and separately Dmitry Larin. The only such store in Novosibirsk in which I and my friend was the first time. The guys are well versed in the sound, they will explain everything, show, and let them listen. I chose 4 pairs of speakers for wiretap, but specifically went for the Klipsch Reference R-820F.
In general, I bought the 820th that delight me to this day). Dmitry provided a wide choice for wiretap, even suddenly threw Martin Logan that for me and my friend was a surprise at all)) Dmitry gave recommendations, explained what to pay attention to. Thanks for his efforts. Everything is on top!
Now O Klipsch: for today the consumers are confronted with the fact - almost everything with a sensitivity below 90dB, which means the search for an amplifier that can rock them. But, when increasing power, the amplifier loses musicality. And practically the only option is Klipsch. Their main trump card is a volume, they easily sway with a lamp, which makes it omnivorous (regarding amplifiers). For this big "+"! The 820th play and very well, I would even say: they replay the more expensive options for noblniks, for which all the disadvantages can close your eyes. After all, the main thing in acoustics is a sound, and this model is worthy!

Sound is beautiful, spectacular.
For me not
These are my first speakers, I use in conjunction with Arcam HDA SA20. I listen to the music of different genres on my ears plays out everything, even watching films has become more pleasant, connected through the optics to TV special effects in the cinema causes delight, I have a room of 20 kV/m of power with a large margin, in my opinion, even a small sport room can download these columns . Bass is reproduced perfectly and it is enough. It was played as it should not immediately, but after about 1-2 weeks. As I got out of the box, I connected everything in the torods, naturally sitting, I listen not enough sound contrast. But here it was not a large number of hours of listening and everything got in its place. The sound is beautiful, I am happy, I recommend taking it. 100%%% !!!

Paul W. Klipsch believed four principles to be the foundation for great sound. They continue to drive the design of every new Klipsch speaker, today and tomorrow: High Efficiency / Low Distortion Klipsch horn technology is highly efficient, providing more accurate sound with less power and less distortion – resulting in louder, cleaner audio. Klipsch’s Law: Efficiency is inversely proportional to distortion. Controlled Directivity Klipsch horn technology accurately directs sound to the proper locations, which, in turn, creates a more lifelike soundstage without wasting acoustic energy where sound is not needed or desired. Wide Dynamic Range The softest sounds are reproduced with remarkable clarity and the loudest sounds are delivered without harshness or distortion – with the greatest possible range between the softest and loudest sounds. Flat Frequency Response Audio is delivered without frequency bias – no unnatural highs, mids or lows – reproducing recorded sound as accurately as possible without colorization.
