The Infinite S12 subwoofer is a built-in model, designed for home cinema rooms and optimized for the Infinite 8 and Infinite 14 speakers. A bass-reflex model, it is equipped with a powerful 30 cm speaker.
Elipson offers with the Infinite S12 built-in subwoofer a practical solution for reproducing low frequencies in a home cinema room. Passive, this box requires the use of an amplifier to operate. Its admissible power is high, with 500 W in continuous and the double in point peak. Elipson has chosen a 30 cm loudspeaker, loaded with bass-reflex with two circular front vents.
Thus, thanks to a volume of a hundred liters, the box reaches the low frequency of 28 Hz, with an attenuation of 3 dB compared to the high-bass register.
The Infinite S12 subwoofer requires an installation depth of 22 cm and has a solid satin aluminum front.
It can be installed in a partition and behind a soundproof screen, without prejudice to its performance.
For large rooms (> 50 m2) or those equipped with a large number of speakers (Atmos for example), the use of several Infinite S12 subwoofers is recommended.
Founded in 1938, Elipson is the oldest brand specializing in the manufacture of high-end French loudspeakers.More than 60 patents later, Elipson has carved out a place for itself in world acoustics thanks to many now iconic loudspeakers. One of the first achievements of this new team is the 4260 loudspeaker to reinscribe Elipson in its history and its know-how in very high fidelity. For the general public, Elipson has created the Planet L and Planet M, spherical speakers that illustrate the brand's desire to invest in the territory of the house, thanks to an object as beautiful as it is acoustically efficient. The full-range of the historic loudspeakers is replaced by a coaxial driver that precisely focuses the sound and helps create a deep and wide soundstage.Elipson thus synthesizes the best of both eras.
