The PHANTOM UNIVERSAL 25 is a solid universal backbox that can be used with the vast majority of the market's built-in ceiling speakers, including the heavier models from DALI and B&W that require a certain depth behind the speaker.
PHANTOM UNIVERSAL 25 is designed to be installed at the same time as the roof is being built. It is ideal for building projects and gives the craftsman very free options for optimal adaptation, including resealing when installing in porous or uneven surfaces. The box can also be retrofitted if there is access to the roof from the back.
The backbox is delivered as a completely closed box, so you can decide the size and position of the cut-out hole yourself. The matt white finish makes marking easy, and the solid construction in MDF, the relatively large internal volume and the included acoustic damping material ensure that you get the same good sound as from a traditional speaker cabinet. The box is completely airtight for optimal sound quality.
