The PHANTOM E-60 S is the first build-in stereo speaker by DALI - featuring two 20 mm tweeters. Its compact size makes it perfect for small to medium-sized rooms or as height speakers in a multi-channel setup. The E-60 S can be tuned according to the room acoustics, resulting in a fantastic integration and a high level of details.
With a distance of 144 mm between the tweeters, you will experience a wider-than-average perspective from this true stereo speaker. The signal path is a dual mono construction with separate inputs and crossover PCB's for each channel. Two switches ensure that both channels can be tuned for the acoustics of your listening room, resulting in fantastic integration and a high level of details.
Typical use will be for stereo in small to medium-sized rooms. It is also possible to apply the PHANTOM E-60 S as height speaker(s) in a multi-channel setup.
The PHANTOM E Series
The DALI PHANTOM E-60 S is designed for optimum in-ceiling use, but will also work if mounted in-wall. The compact construction and the easy-to-use compass positioning guide makes it very straight forward to adjust the speaker for the optimum sound experience. Two discreet switches offer audio adjustment options to ensure that the listener gets the most from the speakers, even in rooms that traditionally are difficult.
The Tilted Woofer
The tilted woofer and the two off-centre soft dome tweeters blend gracefully and produce a richly detailed and crisp soundstage. The polypropylene cone is more resilient towards humidity than the traditional DALI wood fibre cone material, making the PHANTOM E-60 S flexible in regards to placement in covered outdoor areas and bathrooms.
E-60 Back Box
The PHANTOM E-60 S can also be combined with the optional, well-known DALI Back Box, which protects the speaker against moisture, dust and dirt. It keeps the sound quality consistent (symmetrical loading), even if the acoustic environment behind the walls/ceiling is uneven. The DALI Back Box is not included with the PHANTOM E-60 S, but can be chosen as an optional accessory.
Good appearance, good sound.
No
They brought quickly. Now I have a complete set in a home theater. Replaced the old KEF columns. The sound improved markedly. Thanks to the remote.ru for the help.

Chic appearance, clear sound, quite solid bass for such a size
low sensitivity, but in practice is not felt
They brought it quickly, the sound is excellent, clear. I took it to work for a small office - it is perfect (even with a decent margin).
Surprised by a clear and rich bass (expected less). Great acoustics

Quality (assembly and material), excellent sound (for its size)
I did not find
I took complete with the Cambridge Axa35 amplifier after preliminary listening in the cabin and was pleased with the elephant) there is nothing to compare with, since Ave D20 used (excellent for its time and price). In this price segment, it’s better to look for something, believe me (I listened). By sound: by ear all frequencies work out perfectly, especially the top, which is the "disease" of many acoustics. Here is the blues, jazz, where the instrumental and string prevails (Frank Sinatra, Pink Floyd, The Moody Blues, etc.) sound excellent!
Now my advice that I recommend that you observe it (taking into account that you have the same amplifier): BASS and TREB do 10 (by pressing Menu), and if we listen to the computer, put Equalizer APO (completely free and starts with Editor.exe) And set up the frequencies to your liking. Acoustics allows you to make any "miracles". And follow the basic rules when connecting: first we connect everything, then turn on.

I didn't find for myself
I use in a room with an area of 19 m2. He connected the XH9077 TV with an optical cable (TOSLINK) with the Q5 Pro integral amplifier and these columns. It sounds nice, there is a bass too. Of course, the columns of the subwoofer will not be replaced, but there is a bass. I definitely recommend it. In conjunction with Q5 Pro came out quite budget. I twisted the power of the amplifier (35-40 W) to the full with these columns - it is definitely not worth listening to the apartment, the neighbors will not appreciate. The color of acoustics took a nut - they approached the color with a cabinet from IKEA, on which they installed them.

Great compact acoustics of the initial Hi-Fi. A small room voices without any problems, sounds voluminous and practices all 100 for its money. Outwardly, it looks attractive and can easily be inscribed in almost any design.
